Thanks
Didn't get half of these....
Reply#1 was my favorite but I doubt your average five-year-old knows who the hell Christopher Walken is.
ReplyAm I th eonly one that understands almost none of these?
Replynope.
Nope. I got a couple but the rest are way over my head.
12) Quit Playing Games with my heart
ReplyFor those who don't get #24, leave it to us old farts. It's Bob Dylan's "the answer, my friend, is Blowin' In the Wind."

12. Quit Playing Games with my Heart (BSB) & 24 I still don't understand haha
Sixteen is Gangster Paradise (Coolio), I think.
#24 is Bob Dylan: "The answer, my friends, is blowin' in the wind.
I think fourteen is "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
#6 is "Another Brick in the Wall"
14 is total eclipse of the heart.
I didn't get half of these, but I found the article awesome anyway, because if all context is removed from these images they're all just so bizarre they're funny.
Reply#23 Crank that Soldier Boy, and Superman that hoe, #21 Free bird, #13 I'm guessing Love to do the Wild thing. #3 Papa-ratsy.
ReplyCan't believe I didn't get Free Bird earlier
"Wild Thing...you make my heart sing..."
Silly "Cracked readers", don't you know that every last person reading should have to be able to not only recognise each song but also find it funny? How hard is it to appeal to the intelligence, musical knowledge and sense of humour of every person on the internet? You have shamed yourselves.
ReplyYes, because the first thing a kid is going to think of when listening to "These Boots" is Christopher Walken, I'm sure every kid knows who he is.
ReplyOverall one of the worst photoplasties ever, they just don't make sense.
26) What? “No Scrubs?” Is that even a song?
Reply Hide All See All 4 Replies25) Something about dancing with Mary Jane?
24) It’s… raining math?
23) Superman and the Taliban? What?
21) Animals for sale? Dammit, why don’t any of these make sense?
20) Uhh… the grapes are talking to you?
18) Okay, now this one doesn’t even…
16) …maybe “Shiny Happy People”?
14) I love the moon? Are these people high or what?
13) Yes. I’m pretty sure these people are indeed high.
8) ♪ She’s a brick! House! ♪
7) I’m a drunk seven-year-old brushing my teeth with Jack Daniels?
4) Scraggle-teeth black guy likes Atari?
2) Frankenstein: “Somebody help! A Werewolf is raping Dracula!”
1) I give up. These people are retarded or something.
I think #1 is that song 'These boots were made for walking.'
other than that, I'm stumped. well. the bettles song was obvious.
Perhaps you're just not very good at this.
These boots are made for "Walken"
Are you the same guy who couldn't figure out why The Ghostbusters vehicle would be an unwelcome sight for Bruce Willis' character in Sixth Sense?
I got quite a few of those, surprisingly! Loved the "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" one. :D
ReplyEither I need to listen to more music or these are really bad jokes. I got 17 and 22, but that's about it.
Reply5-year-olds shouldn't even be listening to half this shit.
ReplyThat damn "coo-coo ka-choo" again. Why does everyone get that wrong? It's GOO GOO GOO JOOB, in the album's liner notes; less canonically, GOO GOO G'JOOB, in Omnibus Press' "The Complete Beatles Lyrics". In both cases, all uppercase is correct.
Reply Hide All See All 3 RepliesI was thinking the same thing.
As an avid Beatles fan with thousands of their songs, posters on my wall, merchandise and the tendency to talk peoples ears off over how much I love them I must say I have never read the liner notes to find the specific wording of that stupid noise John wrote in a throwaway song that him and an old school friend did just to piss off people who read too much into their lyrics. It's hardly worth getting worked up over. It sounds like "coo coo ka choo" but it also sounds like "goo goo g'joob". In The Beatles' legacy it is probably the least interesting part to debate over.
You take onomatopœias too seriously.
In #11 it looks like the snake is licking the guy's junk
ReplyAm I the only one that thought #2 was toys in the attic by Aerosmith?
ReplyPretty sure that's Monster Mash.
wow...this was tough since all of these songs span several decades. if we had been given a clue to which decade, i might have recognized some of them. i got #5, and barely a couple of others...but wow.
Replywow
i do not get 25-21,14-11,5,4, and 1 someone explain please
