ReplyI am announcing that I am starting my own comic strip. It will have an overly simplified drawing style and humor so edgy and witty that it will seem non-existent to the average joe.
ReplyIt will garner hordes of readers who will defend it simply because even they don't get it and the thought of figuring out that they are not genuises like they thought scares them.
I will make millions after I garner internet acclaim. Book deal and the eventual movie deal will follow.

The humor is an existentialist entity here. A proverbial metaphor for the lack of humor in nature...so much so that the audience is goaded into creating the metaphysical lizard out of the ashes of entropic tragedy. Purely figurative of course.

I hate the white ninja comment-whiners as much as anyone, but this particular strip? Not even trying. I fear the hordes of dumbasses are right this week.

ReplyI was kind of expecting a punch line.
There was a homeless guy dressed in rags (literally, he'd tied up a bunch of rags, duct taped cardboard around his feet and had a shoelace tied around his head) who was walking down the street with a grocery cart and a sign that said the world was ending on Monday and that we had to give up all of our worldly goods before the end and was willing to take them "off our hands for us". That's what this reminded me of.

this one is almost as good as "white ninja makes readers weep while he takes a shit on the word 'comedy'". that one was my total fave.
ReplyMy theory is that they keep posting this shit of a comic up just so the colourful comments flow - far more entertaining than this WN bulltwang. I do, I seriously do. My theory. That's what it is. We're all writing the humour. I called it first.
