Alright being I'm in high school and this will be my first election, it causes me great pain to read the BS and how ignorant y'all are. Obama had control of congress first 2 years so he could of got stuff done. The economy problems were not started by the republicans but by Clinton's administration and his policies with banks (mortgages and loans). The economy goes up and down on a fairly constant pattern, the past two big recessions being 30-40 yrs apart. Not all the troops are coming home, he has sent more troops into small countries, moved more men away from Iraq into Afghanistan and they still aren't coming home yet.

Started what mess the economy? the economy is a long process and the original catalyst was policies put in place during Clinton's presidency and when the war which everybody was all for started it was the second catalyst.
