You Can Find Anything at a Thrift Store (Unfortunately)
Long-time forum member Ben Driscoll has been posting his webcomic Daisy Owl in the forum since July. Today, we take a look at why all the cool trinkets you find at a thrift store will never be worth the consequences on your wardrobe.

I love the shirt. JCPenny sells similar T-Shirts for 10 times the price.
ReplyWhy does an owl have human children?
ReplyWhy is this on a comedy site? Did the editors lose a bet?
ReplyI think you're confusing irony with awesome again.
ReplyThere's absolutely nothing wrong with getting awesome shirts from the thrift store. f**k off, Daisy Owl.
Replyi am these hipsters
ReplyI would buy that shirt unironically. Seriously, "Night of 1000 Kicks"? That s**t's awesome.
ReplyI hate Daisy Owl. It's cold and depressing. Screw the lovers.
Replywin.

I didn't really understand the t-shirt, but I was distracted by the awesome bee-shirt below. Is it ironic that the objects labelled 'bee' don't look like bees? Maybe my local thrift shop will have 'irony and t-shirt design for dummies'. Maybe i am just old.
ReplyI just bought some respectable office work clothes at a thrift store. And a beaded dress for singing Janis Joplin at a wedding reception. I, too, am old.
I didn't realize the bee shirt was part of the article. I liked it too, and I also didn't understand the Daisy Owl shirt very well. I know it's a reference but...
I love Daisy Owl. It's warm and funny. Screw the haters.
