Hmm, it's minimalist. Also, Beartato is an unforgivably ridiculous name. I can forgive comics where the only joke is the wordless lament of a philosophical drawing, but Beartato really is a crap name. If you want a bear name, I suggest Barney Cessities, or give him a sandwich and call him Hogey Bear. (Yes, I know those suck, I just wanted my criticism to be constructive).

its not really the concept of pedophilia, its the concept of expressing yourself in contrast to accepted norms of society by the use of the most base functions in order to free oneself from victimization by an authority figure. or by expressing the hypocrisy of the education system through metaphors of pedophilia, or even illustrating the corruption that the system has while hypocritically calling troubled youngsters deliquent. thats the intention of underground comics that use grotesque or vile imagery. shocking all into seeing a truth that is visible regardless of form. it can be done in a meaningful manner.

I guess short webcomics are going for that cute or awkward or zany moment thing, and there's a place for that, but it's not at Cracked. Mine are more meant to paged through. this one's kid is a main character in a graphic novel, and this is a funny thing he did once. I'm not sure how you want me to make framing the principle for pedophilia more meaningful.

in regards to your comic, i actually like the art. it is reminiscent of underground comics or 90s counter cultural teenage pop media. the problem is that the strip is far to lengthy and thrives on unoriginal content. if it is symbolically autobiographical, very good. but if not, it is something that has been done with importance long before you did it out of meaningless obscurity.
