I teach physics and fix stuff. I'm prejudiced against stupid people. I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt though. Just in case you were wondering, the avatar is a device used in ocular surgery. It clamps the eyelid which is then retracted so that sties and such can be removed. Typically this is done while the patient is wide awake.
