About Me

Hello, I am a 23 year old English Major at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I am a very enlightened and intelligent individual. I'm a very progressively minded and very politically active. Sometimes, I look at all the horrors and injustices that are being committed in the world and think "why aren't we doing more to prevent this?".

I'm a ardent socialist and very vocal atheist. I am so committed to my belief in socialism, that for the past eight years I have refused to get a job in protest of the capitalist hate machine. My parents are the ones paying for my education. I graciously accept their financial assistance because I believe (rightly so) that knowledge should be free.

As an atheist, all my beliefs are grounded in absolute scientific knowledge. Honestly, I just can't understand why someone would ever believe in such a silly religion like Christianity. The fact that god doesn't exist has been essentially proven by science. Anyone who doesn't realize this is simply in denial. How could anyone ever believe in an invisible sky wizard? The entire religion seems to be based around lies, fear and fairy tales. How could an institution built on a foundation of lies ever accomplish anything good?

The thing I hate the most about Christians is how ignorant and intolerant they are. They are completely incapable of understanding anyone's point of view but their own and they completely disregard any thoughts or opinions that don't conform to their simplistic and narrow-minded beliefs. If only they could be more of a peaceful and tolerant religion, like Islam.

In fact, I don't think there's a single person who can give a good reason why we still have Christianity around. Look at all the atrocities that Christians are solely responsible for, The Crusades, The Inquisition, The Salem Witch-Trials, The Holocaust and too many more to mention. Catholic Priests are allowed to rape children and babies without having to fear any legal repercussions. The Vatican just ships them around and denies any wrongdoing. It's sick, all Christians are sick in the head. If someone came along and killed every last Christian on the face of the earth I don't think it would be a bad thing.

On a more upbeat note, some of my hobbies include listening to music. I really enjoy Classic, Experimental and Indie Rock but I absolutely despise Country, Heavy Metal or Grunge. One of my favorite bands is The Beatles. I never listen to my music on Mp3's (although I do own an iPod) instead, I record all of my music on audio cassettes and listen to them in a vintage walkman. (I do this because I am a unique and creative individual and because it is ironic, I mean who listens to walkmans anymore?)

In my spare time I ride my fixie, (for the uneducated that's a bicycle without breaks, the petals of which cannot move independently of the wheels. It is the purest form of bicycle possible.) downtown to Starbucks to have a double cafe mocha and work on my screenplay with my iPad. My favorite hangout, however is a small coffee shop called the "Organic Underground". As much as I love my fixie, I've been holding out for my parents to buy me a smart car. So far, no such luck :(

A lot of my clothing is also edgy and too unique for the average consumer. My favorite outfit includes, a 70's style faux-leather jacket (made with 100% animal byproduct free pleather), tight-fitting 80$ pre-faded jeans, pre-owned sneakers, a Che Guevera T-shirt and Fidel Castro hat. I also love to wear scarves, especially in the summer, what could be more ironic?
