About Me

I was born at a fairly early age during a blizzard in a small mining town hospital in Upper Michigan. The name of the town was Ishpeming, a Chippewa name meaning High Place or Heaven. I was then dragged off to live 3 miles down the road in Negaunee (Low Place or Hell. The weather in Hell was surprisingly bone-chilling for most of the year until summer thawed me out just enough to enjoy a good mosquito bite.
I moved to the Central Coast of California where I have been happily married for 23 years.(We've been married for 27.) I have a son named Christian simply because my Mom informed me that, "Nobody is born a Christian." That'll teach her for dragging me off to Hell.
