Hey, I only just now noticed the "unpleasant" qualifier in the third panel. NOW I get what's supposed to be funny about it.

Hey btw, i just looked at this again, about 10 hours later, and in panel 2 it has mothman of kinkos. i get the mothman, but whats the joke part about kinkos? is there a reference i was missing there?its possible that i'm too dumb to see the glaringly obvious.

I am puzzled at how many people are offended by the character portrayed in panel 3. I count myself as a nerd, too, but I certainly don't find hateful misfits any more tolerable or identifiable than the next guy does. It's not a slam against me unless I *make* it a slam against me.

Actually, I see #3 happening all the time, but it's usually short-lived as nerd blows up any little problem in a relationship in order to wallow in self pity until she breaks up with his intolerable ass and he's vindicated in the knowledge that 'no decent woman would ever want him.'

I like the Owlman too. Winston should start doing an Owlman comic.
