Chris Rock And Dave Chappelle To Co-Headline US Tour

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are set to co-headline a West Coast tour beginning December 1st, according to a post on Consequence.net released this morning. The duo will perform in seven different cities over two weeks, starting in San Diego and ending in Thousand Palms, CA. Rock and Chappelle have planned only one performance outside of California, with a Phoenix, AZ stop scheduled for December 5th.

No, Dave's not performing here like you hoped.

There will be a Live Nation presale for tour tickets this Thursday, October 20th, beginning at 10:00 am PST. The seven-date schedule will be a brief extension for Chris Rock on his “Ego Death World Tour,” which is currently in Seattle and will end in Hollywood, CA on November 20th. Dave Chappelle will follow the co-headlining dates with a mini-tour of his own – seven shows have been scheduled for the end of the year in Florida, Ohio, and Toronto.

This comedy supergroup seems to be the collaboration of the comedians who have been attacked onstage in the past year – Chris Rock was famously slapped by Will Smith after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss, and Dave Chappelle was attacked by a man wielding a knife during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl.

Maybe they’ll get that comic who had a beer thrown at her head to open?
