Some actors stretch out into comedy, and some comedians stretch out into the dramatic world. Whichever it is, we're glad they made the leap.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM WILL FERRELL NEW TEA NEW CHANN EL NNEL CHAN EWS TE NE Will Ferrell is obviously a comedy genius, but his sincere, heartbreaking/heartwarming performance in Stranger Than Fiction is what makes it such a great rainy day movie. Watch is next time it rains.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM BILL HADER Bill Hader absolutely deserves a spot on this list. Obviously he was a shining star on SNL, but his work on The Skeleton Twins and Barry revealed an amazing skill for the dramatic. Give us a Gritty Stefan movie NOW.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM JIM CARREY You knew he'd be on the list. Truman Show, The Mask, Eternal Sunshine, Ace Ventura. At this point Jim Carrey is as much drama as he is comedy. I have no idea when he's joking at this point.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM ROBIN WILLIAMS Robin Williams is arguably the king of BOTH drama and comedy. The honesty in his characters makes each one memorable. I am very honored to be the first person to recognize this fact.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM JAMIE FOXX Jamie Foxx is the kind of person who you'd hate to be related to because he's just too good at everything. Singing, dancing, standup, dramatic roles, and sketch comedy. We GET it, Jamie.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM TOM HANKS Tom Hanks often blurs the lines between dramatic and comedic. Many of his characters are funny with heartbreaking moments intertwined. Like in that movie where he got big (I'm forgetting the name).

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM MELISSA MCCARTHY Melissa McCarthy is obviously one of the greatest comedy revelations of the 2010s. Since she had diarrhea in the bathroom of a fancy wedding dress store, she has since gone on to star in beautiful dramatic films like Starling and Can You Ever Forgive Me

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM STEPHEN FRY I want to tuck in V for Vendetta Fry and take care of him, while we watch QI, Black Adder and a Bit of Fry and Laurie.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM STEVE CARRELL ENT College TEAM FOXCATCHER Steve Carell was SO good at playing Michael Scott because although he was hilarious, he mixed in genuine moments of great emotion. Since Anchorman and The Office, Carrell has gone on to do incredibly dramatic performances in movies like Foxcatcher and Welcome To Marwen.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM BRIE LARSON Let's give Brie Larson her due here for a moment. 21 Jump Street, Room, The League, Captain Marvel, and Scott Pilgrim. She stands out in her dramatic roles and has great comedic timing.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM WILL SMITH Will Smith in Fresh Prince made us laugh. Will Smith in Pursuit of Happiness made us cry. Will Smith at the beginning of Youtube Rewind made us cringe. It's ok though, we still love you, Will.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM DONALD GLOVER Donald Glover we know you can do anything you set your mind to. Atlanta, Community, stand up, sketch, rapping, R&B and soul. Just think about coming back to slapstick comedies for a bit. It would mean a lot to us.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM EMMA STONE D abiolac3 Emma Stone was the well deserved queen of comedy for a bit in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Easy А, The House Bunny, and Zombie Land cemented her whit. But with movies like The Help, Birdman, and La La Land Stone has shown she can do whatever the hell she wants.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM JONAH HILL Jonah was typecast as the funny, chubby nerd for so long, it seemed like a long shot when he was cast in Moneyball. Since then Jonah has shown great dramatic work in Don't Worry Не Won't Get Far On Foot and Wolf of Wall Street.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM JOHN с. REILLY How does one do What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Step Brothers, Walk Hard, and star in A Streetcar Named Desire on broadway? Mr.Brule, you are a living legend.

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM JASON BATEMEN UNITED - Jason Batemen is a great straight man for over the top performances, and even does some great over the in your face comedy work in films like Dodgeball. But in Ozark he holds your attention with an iron grip in a very real performance.
