Aziz Ansari Reveals Where His ‘Parks and Recreation’ Character Would Be in 2025
Tom Haverford probably hasn’t attended many Indianapolis Colts games or celebrity sushi lunches since Parks and Recreation’s series finale, according to Aziz Ansari.
In a new interview with Variety, the actor hinted that Tom may not be available to appear in a theoretical Parks and Recreation revival, arguing that if the aspiring entrepreneur is still around, he might be grappling with the consequences of some major business mistakes from the past decade.

“Hopefully, he’s okay and hasn’t lost everything in some ill-fated crypto investments,” Ansari said of how his character’s famed bar for stunting may have dropped even lower in recent years.
Ansari isn’t the only Parks and Recreation alum pondering where their on-screen counterpart ended up a decade after the show’s conclusion in 2015. Chris Pratt has some pretty strong opinions on how his character, Andy Dwyer, is doing. According to the actor, Pawnee’s resident rocker likely “moved to Eagleton and became a yuppie” following his final TV appearance.
“He’s now Johnny Karate’s Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show. He’s a children’s performer,” Pratt told Access Hollywood during a red carpet appearance last month, noting that it could be “really fun to explore” Andy’s career path in a potential reboot.

“He probably got a little high on the hog being a children’s performer, and it’d be great to kind of see him turn heel,” Pratt added of his character. “I think that’d be pretty funny.”
“I’d be so curious to see what Mike Schur and Greg Daniels, and Amy Poehler would have imagined where Andy Dwyer may have gone,” Pratt continued.
Maybe they could even put Burt Macklin on the case.
