Charlie Kirk Is Trying to Convince His Fans That ‘South Park’ Is on His Side

‘Conservatives are funnier than liberals’ says one of God’s meanest jokes
Charlie Kirk Is Trying to Convince His Fans That ‘South Park’ Is on His Side

As we predicted, the far-right establishment is now pretending that South Park is laughing with them when it calls them a bunch of hideous, hateful grifters who hide in their moms’ houses to masterdebate.

When right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk learned that he was going to be South Park’s next target upon the release of the promo for last night’s new episode “Got a Nut,” he made the bold and unprecedented move to break from President Donald “Saddam Hussein” Trump’s hard line on the “irrelevant” and “fourth-rate” series by leaning into the parody, quickly changing his Twitter profile picture to an image of Cartman donning his own distinctly inbred haircut.

Despite how the White House officially declared that South Park is “hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention” after the Season 27 opener scorched Trump for being a corrupt, small-dicked, Middle-Eastern dictator, the rest of the Right quickly realized that South Park's popularity is not at an “all-time low,” as Trump suggested, and they’re now desperately trying to sit at the cool kids’ table with Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

While South Park ridiculed Kirk for stealing his entire shtick from Eric Cartman’s neo-Nazi beliefs and behavior, Kirk was live-tweeting “Got a Nut” as if South Park was applauding him for owning the libs. Apparently, the deceptive editing techniques that Kirk uses to win arguments on YouTube also work on his own perception of reality.

In “Got a Nut,” the female students of South Park Elementary School push back against one of the male students move to become a professional right-wing podcaster who lobs heinous slurs and insults against anyone who isnt a straight white man. Yes, Clyde Donovan has caught on to the massive industry that preys on the insecurities and prejudices of angry young white men, and he has decided to get in on the grift and “get his nut.”

When Cartman learns that Clyde is attacking women and minorities for monetary reasons instead of ideological ones, he explodes in outrage and resolves to become the internets greatest masterdebater, only to fall short at the Charlie Kirk Awards because the incel industry values cash more than their own ideals. Unfortunately for Cartman, the conservative demagogue community — Kirk, specifically — stole his entire chauvinist troll persona and turned it into a lucrative business.

I sincerely doubt that Kirk watched “Got a Nut” and came away with the impression that Parker and Stone supported his efforts to harass and abuse women and ethnic minorities while deepening the divide in American culture, but, as is always the case with Kirk, the truth doesnt matter so long as you can selectively edit it to make yourself look like a masterdebater.

On the other hand, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem will have a harder time playing off “Got a Nut” as if South Park is actually on her side. Sometimes, when youre deep in the dog house, theres just no way to save face.
