The Ron Swanson Skillet Should Not Be Attempted By Weak-Willed Men
“Give me all the bacon and eggs you have.”
In Parks and Recreation, Ron Swanson’s wants are simple — breakfast food and pretty, dark-haired women. TikTok chef Derek Wolf may not be the latter, but he can provide the former for anyone with a stomach strong enough to finish a meal both fit for Ron Swanson and roughly the size of Ron Swanson. Wolf, popular for his carnivorous content, kicked off his newest “All Things Bacon” series by paying homage to the man for whom bacon was more of a way of life than a food.
With six strips of bacon, four giant andouille sausages, a whole bone-in ribeye, a half dozen eggs, six bacon-wrapped shrimp and a pile of bacon fat potatoes, the Ron Swanson skillet is not recommended for anyone who doesn’t anonymously hold several food-eating records around town — or for those with arteries.
