This will be a day long remembered -- for its unsettling 'Star Wars' leaks.
Darth Vader Leaks From 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Are Here And They're Creepy As Hell

This article contains heavy spoilers for the upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi.’ Fear – and getting your panties in a twist after failing to read spoiler warnings  – is the path to the dark side, so proceed at your own risk.

Great news for Star Wars fans looking for something creepier than a burger from the dark side: alleged leaks from Disney’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series hint at Darth Vader’s upcoming gory form. And much like Delta-riddled America, Hayden Christensen’s take on the iconic villain looks like he’s ready to mill about the world without his trademark face covering.

Earlier this week, Star Wars Net released a series of artist renderings depicting what Christensen's Vader may look like in his rawest, helmet-less form, allegedly based on photos the publication obtained from the set. Featuring a figure sporting futuristic breathing/medical equipment, the first image seemingly hints that the Christensen --  not the Rogue One mannequin -- will physically embody the Star Wars antagonist in the (mostly in-tact) flesh. Sexy.

The other two, depicting a “huge bacta tank” allegedly seen on set and a piece of breathing apparatus that was included in the series's concept art and reportedly spied during production, further alludes to the idea that the star will also portray the villain's submerged body. It is unclear if Christensen hates milling about in mysterious healing fluids as much as he -- and his character -- hate sand

Aside from providing us with some fun nightmare fuel and a pinch of fodder for speculation ahead of the show's 2022 premiere, these leaks also seemingly explain why the Anakin actor will take on the role rather than James Earl Jones, who lent his voice to the iconic villian or certified tall boys, Spencer Wilding and Daniel Naprous, who offered their intimidating statures to the character in parts of Rogue One

Obi Wan Kenobi – because sometimes, you just gotta rock out with life-saving, albeit hella uncomfortable, mask off in the privacy of your huge bacta tank.
