Ken Jeong Is Among the Guest Stars Returning to ‘Bob’s Burgers' This Season

The former doctor will be playing a familiar, not-so-former doctor

On Saturday, the Bob’s Burgers cast and creator Loren Bouchard sat for a panel during New York Comic Con 2025. While onstage, they played upcoming clips from the current season, including from a Halloween episode in which Teddy is doing handiwork at an occult store and a Christmas episode with the Belchers decorating cookies.

Bouchard also took some time to announce a few guest stars — all but one of which are returning favorites. Chief among them is Ken Jeong as family dentist Dr. Yap for an episode in which Louise needs oral surgery. Bouchard teased that, after receiving a dental anesthetic, Louise will be “quite loopy for the entire episode and yet has to keep a dangerous secret from Linda.”

Sharon Horgan is also returning as Kathleen, Teddy’s steady girlfriend since last season. Tim Meadows is back as Mike the Mailman as well and health inspector characters Hugo and Ron (Sam Seder and Ron Lynch) will show up for the first time since 2021. Bouchard mentioned that Bobby Tisdale will return as Zeke and promised “a really sweet Zeke episode where Tina decides to orchestrate a double date — it does not go as well as she would’ve liked.”

Bouchard only mentioned one guest star who hadn’t been on the show before: Jamie Demetriou, who plays the twin brothers who own the aforementioned occult store.

All of the guest stars mentioned are fan-favorites, and those in attendance went crazy when they heard about them. It’s also in keeping with the show, as Bob’s Burgers is hardly a series that relies too heavily on stunt casting or shoe-horning in guest stars. Or, as Bouchard put it during the panel, “These are not ‘exciting’ celebrities that we dig up and throw into the show so that we can say their name. These are really funny people we get to work with.”
