The White House Twitter Account Steals ‘South Park’s Labubu Joke and Makes It Lame and Racist
Last week, South Park explained that the popular collectible kids’ toy the Labubu can be used to summon Satan himself, but it also attracts something much, much worse: racist Twitter try-hards who work for the government.
In the most recent South Park Season 27 banger, “Wok Is Dead,” series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone explored the negative impact that President Donald “Saddam Hussein” Trump’s tariffs have had on American consumers while simultaneously skewering the Labubu craze that has taken over America’s elementary schools and turned young, TikTok-loving girls into devil-worshippers. It’s important to note that Parker and Stone aren’t the first people to joke that the Hong Kong-based gacha toys are occult in nature, but no one has been as explicit or as hilarious in roasting Labubus for being demonic entities as South Park — especially not the Trump administration, which has apparently moved on from hurling insults at South Park in official White House Press Releases to cribbing the show’s jokes a week later.
Earlier this week, the official White House Twitter account gloated about the Trump administration’s mass deportation campaign of Latin-looking people, non-citizens or otherwise, with a clearly A.I.-generated image of a “Deported Edition Labubu,” captioning the picture, “WTF. Maybe Labubus are demonic.”

Clearly, neither the White House Twitter team nor the A.I. tool that makes their dogshit memes knows what a Labubu even looks like — but, if there really were a sexual predator Labubu, wouldn’t it make more sense to model it after Trump?
Seriously, this attempt at turning the ongoing Immigrations and Custom Enforcement campaign to indiscriminately kidnap Spanish-speakers across the country into a topical meme is such a creative failure in so many ways that it would almost work as post-modernist anti-humor if the White House itself hadn’t tweeted it. First off, as we already discussed, this image looks absolutely nothing like an actual Labubu, since every Labubu famously has the same animalistic look complete with fur, long ears and jagged teeth — although, the Trump administration clearly doesn’t view the people they deport as human beings, so the White House Twitter admin might not even know the difference.
Then, there’s the way that the White House considers the image of a smiling, tattooed, tan-skinned detainee as “demonic,” when their “Deported Edition Labubu” looks like it should be the mascot for a trendy fast-casual restaurant chain rather than a Satanic sexual predator. White House Deputy Chief of Stephen Miller looks way more like he just stepped out of an Epstein party in Hell than Chef Smiley over here.
Obviously, the worst part of the White House’s absolute failure to cash in on the “Labubus are Satanic” joke that South Park absolutely nailed is how the Trump shitposting team is trying to portray the mechanics, construction workers and day laborers whom ICE rounds up as the embodiment of pure evil, despite the fact that, according to ICE's own data, 93 percent of people whom they’ve disappeared from the country have never been convicted of any violent offense.
If ICE really want to get rid of the Satanic sex predators who are destroying this country, then they would have raided the master suite in Mar-a-Lago a long time ago.
