Darth Panel: How The Empire Reformed Health Care [COMIC]
Winston Rowntree (author of Subnormality) and Cracked contributor GundamPanda show us why health care is a bitter debate, even in a galaxy far, far away...

This comic was created as the result of a contest for our readers, to see the entries that almost won, check Page 2...

The "Living on a Prayer" one was great. I thought he was saying "Wuh-oh", like "uh-oh" at first. Then I ROFL'd.
ReplyWhat's Azazel from X-men:First Class doing there? Also, I think blowing up a space station the size of a moon would be slightly more expensive than healthcare...maybe.
Replyit's darth maul. also, no; ongoing healthcare from age twenty to sixty for cancer-ridden diabetic clones that number AT LEAST in the tens of millions since they're capable of waging a galactic campaign.
@anaris But they do only live about halve as long as a normal person due to accelerated aging.... something to think about.
"Living on a Prayer" got a chuckle
ReplyThe "Get off the stage, Mom" one didn't have much to do with Health Care, but it made me laugh the most.
ReplyThis is the only one that ever got me to laugh :D
ReplyJeez. Every single one of these made me laugh EXCEPT the winning one. Is that normal?
Reply99.9% of these just aren't funny. Not even "bad" funny like a z-horror movie.
ReplyThis is of the 0.1%.
you're such a douche, saying how much you hate these comics on every single one. and the fact that your avatar is a picture of hitler only reinforces that view of you.
Funny stuff, wonder how much of episode IV the writer watched...as leia did not have the plans on the Death Star...but that is just splitting hairs...
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesThe "she" may not have been referring to Leia, but again, splitting hairs.
does it even matter?
yeah, she did. the empire raided her ship looking for them, and her escape brings them to the Rebellion. have you really been watching it this whole time thinking that every event in the entire film was a complete waste of time?
@anaris Actually, R2-D2 had the plans the whole time, and the rebellion was for the most part (I'm pretty sure) located on Alderan. R2 knew Leia probably wouldn't be there but he could still get the plans to the rest of the rebels.
I don't usually complain, but so many f**king health care comics? Really? Is that all you guys can come up with? The biggest topic in America isn't exactly original, and last time I checked cracked wasn't a political satire website. Cracked is (god help me, I'm about to say it) better than that. Kudos to people who saw a chart and didn't automatically think "I saw something like that on the news!" Kudos. Even to the sex-jokes guys.
Reply Hide All See All 3 Replies"Health Care" was the topic for the contest, dumbass.
Agreeing with sovietdisco.
Also, F*** you. I've seen you before.
That guy in the middle is wearing a stethoscope, so something related to doctoring makes a lot of sense, actually.
the one with the mom was great
ReplyThis was funny. Now can you please update Subnormality???
Replyi wish we got to vote on this contest. the dream comic was superior.
Replyace justice...that man deserves a wiser clap.
Replyya know the comic on page one is very believeable. It almost fits in perfectly with the campain story in battlefront 2. The orignal clones were mostly destroyed in death star explosion.
ReplyI could totally picture Halliburton and Blackwater doing this exact thing.
ReplyWhy? Neither of them have anything to do with health care.
We. Are. Screwed.
ReplyI like the winner! Hilarious
ReplyZombies FTW!
ReplyWOOOO-AH
ReplyLIVIN' ON A PRAYER
Brazil is a great movie.
Replyit certainly is!
