We don't talk enough about the 1970s as the Golden Age of Terrorism. Obviously, the ‘70s were most famous were witchcraft trials, we all know that, but terrorism was big, too. Yeah, crime got real weird during the 70s, what with the boom of serial killers like Ted Bundy and Ted “Zodiac” Cruz running around. But the craziest 70s crime story belongs to Dr. Timothy Leary getting 10 years for possessing two jazz cigarettes. You’ll just have to read that one for all the twists and drugs. Speaking of drugs, SNL began in the 70s.
