We've all had a moment in our lives where we've been wronged: Maybe our hearts have been broken, we were passed over for a promotion at work, or even something as petty and simple as being cut off in traffic. What's the healthy thing to do? Probably get it together and move on with our days and our lives… But the more fun option is to wait until the perfect time and unleash petty, juvenile revenge. It turns out that movies from your childhood, like Shrek, were created almost purely to spite Disney. David Bowie's entire career in the 1980s? Basically a revenge plot. And let's not even get into what Burt Reynolds can allegedly do with a helicopter, a Christmas tree, and a couple of sacks of horse manure. Maybe it's all petty and immature, or maybe our own revenge schemes need to step it up a notch or two.
