15 Deleted Scenes That Change Your Favorite Movies

Sometimes the best stuff in a movie ends up on the cutting room floor. A short cut scene that could provide more context, a small backstory, a character motivation, or something that would have impacted the movie's plot or an audience's view of a character. These scenes could actually take a great movie into greater heights if it were placed back in. It can be a shame to lose such a thing, especially if it was only clipped away to ensure a reasonable runtime.

Then again, on the other hand, some stuff was correctly and justly removed. Some scenes could distract from the film, take the story someplace negative, or, in the case of The Lion King, be removed because… yikes. Such edits could actually save a film from becoming a disaster.

Take a look at some deleted scenes from movies that would have definitely impacted your enjoyment, one way or the other.
