The first few seasons of these random TV facts had a great thing going with a studio audience. The live performance element really helped them deliver the goods, and hey, if a joke didn’t land, the writers could always throw another zinger in there for a second take. 

If that didn’t work, they could always just add a laugh in post. These facts, while chock-full of TV gold, started leaning pretty heavily on those since it was a lot more controlled and they didn’t have to deal with the general public anymore.
