It is absolutely mind-blowing to me that despite multiple reminders before each movie, there are still people that refuse to turn their phone on silent at movie theaters. They don't care if their phone is constantly dinging with text messages or ringing with spam calls, disturbing everyone around them. These very same people often have their phone at maximum brightness, too. So, not only do you get distracted by their ringtone, but they light up the entire theater when they do try to silence it. I've even caught people scrolling through social media as if they didn't just pay $16 minumum for the giant, loud screen in front of them!
