29 Trivia Nuggets From Pop Culture History About Music

Most of the time, when people say that they have been playing a song on repeat, they mean that they're listening to it often or that it's on a bigger playlist filled with other songs that they enjoy looping. However, some weirdos (like me), literally mean that they sometimes become so obsessed with a single song that they listen to it on a loop for hours. I don't reach these states of obsession TOO often, but my worst bout was just last year; I couldn't stop listening to “Losing my Religion” by REM, and I used to sneak it on the work playlist about 5 times a day to my coworkers' annoyance.

Well, it turns out that not only songs can get stuck in your head, but facts can, too, if they're fascinating enough. If you've got enough earworms ringing around in your head, mull over these facts instead.
