Because hey, if these ‘90s directors put in the work to give us these extra little nuggets, we should at least see what all the fuss is about.

CRACKED WE CAN SEE E.T.'S PALS IN STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE. George Lucas confirmed that 3 members of the Galactic Senate are members of the same species as Е.Т. This returned the favor, since Spielberg included a Yoda costume in E.T.

GRACKED THE DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE AND PULP FICTION CONNECTION. In Pulp Fiction, Bruce Willis sings Flowers on the Wall over the soundtrack. Then, when he's asked how he's been in Die Hard with a Vengeance, he responds with the lyrics from the song, smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo.

CRACKED BELLE CAN BE SEEN IN THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. As Quasimodo is looking down on the city below, Belle from Beauty and the Beast is walking with her nose stuck in a book. Both movies take place in France, so this makes sense.

CRACKED 1-877-TAME-HER YOU COULD ACTUALLY CALL TOM CRUISE ON HIS MAGNOLIA PHONE NUMBER. The number doesn't work anymore, but when Cruise's character is hawking one of his products, the phone number 1-877-TAME-HER appears. Fans who called that number heard a message from Tom Cruise himself.

The look-alike and Van Sant’s own cameo are both nods to Hitchcock.

In Van Sant's '90s Psycho remake, he pays homage to the late director by having a Hitchcock look-alike in a scene with the real-life cameo of Van Sant himself.
