‘South Park’ Season Finale Promises a ‘Christmas Miracle’

2025’s batch of South Park episodes is coming to an end this week. And as many fans were clearly hoping, the show will celebrate the season of giving/talking fecal matter with a special Christmas episode.

While details are still sparse – possibly because the episode is still being thrown together as we speak – the recently released promo finds Stan boldly declaring: “That’s what everyone needs right now, a big Christmas miracle.”

And in a scene that might preemptively ruin the holidays for everyone, we also see president Donald Trump dressed up as a Salvation Army Santa Claus with his vice president (and secret lover) JD Vance acting as his elf sidekick.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the episode will be titled “The Crap Out.” And the logline reads: “Satan’s due, Stan’s praying, and only a Christmas miracle can deliver the Antichrist on time.”

Trump’s unholy spawn aside, news of a Christmas-themed episode with the word “crap” in the title prompted some fans to speculate that Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo might be making an appearance.

Come to think of it, “The Crap Out” won’t be the only South Park Christmas show concerning the birth of the antichrist, lest we forget the events of Season Eight’s “Woodland Critter Christmas.”

It shouldn’t be too surprising to learn that the mid-December finale will be full of Christmas cheer, considering that the entire South Park franchise began with the homemade holiday special The Spirit of Christmas, AKA Jesus vs. Frosty. And the show obviously featured a ton of yuletide-centric episodes over the years, often involving Mr. Hankey, Jesus and Santa Claus (the real one, not the Trump one).

But it will be interesting to see how Trey Parker and Matt Stone attempt to combine their familiar seasonal trappings with this season’s more politically-charged material. Will Trump get visited by three ghosts? Will JD Vance finally get a Red Ryder BB Gun? Or maybe Kristi Noem’s guardian angel will show her a version of the world in which she was never born and all of those puppies she murdered are still alive.
