Comedian Matt Buechele has had enough of the half-in, half-out nonsense that is the so-called “hybrid work schedule,” a name so sleek and trendy that it almost masks the fact that it describes a setup that somehow combines the worst of both worlds. Two days in the office, the weekdays seemingly decided at random every Thursday afternoon, plus three days at home getting messages from your coworkers who booked you for an in-office meeting, not understanding that you’re on the A rotation this week and not the C rotation. Enough.

In a viral TikTok video, Buechele has officially called out the HR ignorami of the world who somehow decided that constant instability was better for productivity than picking a side in the work-from-home vs. in-office war brought on by mandatory lockdowns.
