Mark Wahlberg Is A Giant Weirdo

Mark Wahlberg is trending. Probably because his new movie, Father Stu, is out in cinemas. Or maybe it’s because he’s Mark Wahlberg. You know, because Mark Wahlberg is just such a giant weirdo.

You giant-muscled giant weirdo, you.

The man sure says and does some bizarre things. Heard what he said about his new movie? Apparently Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ inspired Marky Mark to spend “millions and millions” of his own dollars to fund his film. “This is God choosing me to make the film,” the devoted Catholic said. That’s nice for you, Mark Wahlberg, you big weirdo.

Another wild thing about Mark Wahlberg is that he will get up in the middle of the night, not because he can’t sleep or because he craves a snack like a normal person. No, he’ll get out of bed at the Devil’s hour to go and work out. He once told a reporter that he gets up at 2:30 so he can be in the gym by 3:30 and done by 5:30 so he could be at work by 7:30. Jeepers, that is one tough schedule, Mark Wahlberg, you absolute weirdo. He also says there’s a lot of praying going on in between those early morning workouts. Probably praying for some debt relief.

Here’s another bananas ‘Marky Mark Is The Biggest Weirdo’ fact because, just like the guy’s many bulging muscles, we really have a lot to work with here. Remember how he said that doing Boogie Nights was a poor career choice? We do. “I just always hope that God is a movie fan and also forgiving, because I’ve made some poor choices in my past. ‘Boogie Nights’ is up there at the top of the list.”

So it’s pretty hilarious finding out that Mark Wahlberg still has that giant prosthetic penis tucked away in his closet at home. What a wacky thing to keep. We guess he asks God to forgive him for that, too, in between squats 30 and 40.

What else should we expect, though? After all, this is the guy who was both a drug addict and the youngest member of New Kids on the Block by age 13. This is the guy who was a convicted felon of racial crimes and attempted murder by age 18. This is the guy who was a Calvin Klein underwear model by 20, who went on to play an angry guy in most all of his films, ever after.

Such a strange guy. What a weird fella.
