Just Two Years Ago, Donald Trump Jr. Tweeted That ‘South Park Doesn’t Miss’

Putting Trump’s tiny third leg on screen is proof the show has never been more on the money

South Park kicked off Season 27 by showing a probably too-accurate rendering of President Donald Trump’s tiny penis, and putting the commander-in-chief in bed with the literal devil. It was probably the most backbone we’ve seen from comedy programming with regards to Trump since Kathy Griffin held up a mannequin-version of his bloodied severed head. You were ahead of your time, Kathy!

But naturally, the thinnest-skinned president we’ve ever had and his retinue didn’t take the South Park jabs lightly. Even though executives over at the ever-compliant Skydance gave Trump a heads up about the content of the show, it didn’t stop the White House from releasing a deluge of self-righteous complaints about it anyways. “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offensive’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show,” White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers told Deadline

Jury’s still out on who the White House and the pundit class considers to be “the Left” other than just “people who annoy them.” But while we’re on the topic of hypocrisy Ms. Rogers, let’s not throw stones in glass houses. You know who else is probably going to have different opinions on South Park’s content today versus a few years ago? Donald Trump Jr.

Our swollen-ankled tyrant’s progeny posted on X less than two years ago: “Hahahahaha. As always South Park doesn’t miss.” For those counting, that’s five “ha’s.”

Naturally, this tweet hasn’t been forgotten to time. The replies are filled with new responses, highlighting how much South Park didn’t miss with its most recent episode. Warning: It’s a lot of screenshots of a tiny penis.

Even replies back in October 2023, when the tweet was first posted, pointed out to Trump Jr. that South Park has been making fun of him and his father for years. But are we surprised some things are flying over this man’s overly-gelled head?

South Park hasn’t become a show that signs a $1.5 billion deal with Paramount because its comedy has perfect politics. It’s grown to be such a success because it’s been pretty unapologetic regardless of the target of its punchlines. “Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows,” Rogers said to Deadline.

Again, throwing stones at walls that can’t bear their weight. Not only are Parker and Stone literally sitting on piles of cash right now, but we’re all aware of Trump’s current approval ratings. The most recent numbers from Gallup polling show that it’s dropped by 10 points since he started his second term, down to a pretty dismal 37 percent. If we want to talk about record lows, let’s start there.

Or, we can all just take Donald Trump Jr. at his word for once and agree that South Park doesn’t miss.
