50 Random Bits of ‘SNL’ Trivia From 50 Seasons of ‘SNL’

It’s always a tad perplexing when we hear a blanket statement like “SNL rocks” or “SNL sucks!” Now in its 50th season, the show has done a lot of rocking and sucking over the years. You have to be more specific!
We wouldn’t know, because we’re still so young and hot, but the salty old higher-ups around the office will tell you that 50 years of anything will have some patches of loveliness and some patches of “holy hell, this is a complete nightmare that only death can save us from,” but even in its darkest moments, death never came for SNL.
