‘South Park’ Fans Joke That Tegridy Farms Should Become A Spirit Halloween

That would make for a better episode than half the Tegridy Farms arc
‘South Park’ Fans Joke That Tegridy Farms Should Become A Spirit Halloween

The plot of land formerly known as Tegridy Farms could once again become a hot-spot this Halloween, but beware — that isn’t a Harvey Weinstein “costume.”

The Tegridy Farms Era of South Park is officially over, much to the relief of the non-Randy members of the Marsh family and the show’s entire viewership. Seven years ago this October, the Marsh patriarch moved his family out of South Park and into a rural farmhouse, hoping to simultaneously escape the moral deterioration of the town and cash in on Colorado’s freshly legalized cannabis industry, thus beginning one of the longest and most controversial storylines in South Park history.

As of last week’s South Park Season 27 episode “Sickofancy,” in which Immigration Customs and Enforcement agents apprehended the entire Tegridy Farms staff besides Randy and poor Towelie, Tegridy Farms is finally out of business and the Marsh family is moving back to South Park. This leaves the new owners of the former marijuana growing operation with an important decision to make about the land’s future with fall right around the corner.

One fan in the South Park subreddit has a seasonal idea for how Tegridy Farms can once again turn a profit — hell, Randy can even pick up a shift putting up some decorative ectoplasm!

“Spooky Ghosts Welcome”

Honestly, a Halloween episode where a despondent Randy returns to Tegridy Farms to find that its been taken over by Americas favorite seasonal costume superstore and decides to haunt the Spirit Halloween staff and customers like hes a stoned Phantom of the Opera isnt such a bad episode idea — at least, its a stronger premise than no small handful of Tegridy Farms storylines from recent South Park seasons.

After all, Randy isnt just going to forget about the passion project that took up the better part of a decade of his and his familys lives. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are going to have to say something about the future of their favorite South Park setting over the last six seasons, and South Park will still be in season by the time Halloween rolls around.

Then again, if Parker and Stone really want to give the South Park fandom a scare, theyd just have Randy change his mind and return to Tegridy Farms as if nothing happened last week in “Sickofancy.” Tegridy Farms may yet return from the dead to haunt us all.
