Candid Photos from Behind the Scenes of the 1980s

Radical!

With shows like Stranger Things set in the ‘80s, it’s easy to think everyone back then used to spend the day at the mall, rollerskating with their friends while listening to their Walkmans, wearing flashy colors, and sporting the biggest hairdos you'll ever see. And there was a bit of that, of course, but reality had other, more boring sides, too.

House parties weren't too different from today's, and people didn't wear flashy colors all the time. At home or with family, everyone looked "normal," which probably had a different definition in the '80s.

So, here are some candid photos from behind the scenes of the 1980s, to give you a bit of reality.
