Movies That Predicted New Tech Before it Ever Existed

Films technologies that didn’t exist at the time of their release.

There are many science fiction films that anticipated the future with technological innovations that didn't yet exist when those films were released.

What's amazing is how several Hollywood movies imagined cultural changes and technologies that didn't exist decades ago and that would later become commonplace in everyday life.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) anticipated the use of tablets, AI assistants, and commercial space travel. Meanwhile, Blade Runner (1982) depicted giant advertising screens and surveillance drones, just like we have today.

When we revisit technological devices in old movies that are still in use today, we see how cinema anticipated the future in an incredible way.
