Pauly Shore Managed To Get Himself Completely Banned From ‘Kill Tony’

When Roseanne Barr is the well-behaved guest, you got a problem

Pauly Shore was in full weasel mode when he appeared with Roseanne Barr on the Kill Tony podcast last month. In other words, he was an obnoxious pest — all in the service of laughs, of course — but not everyone thought it was so funny.

Shore was so irritating that the Kill Tony gang has banned him from the show, according to Shore’s latest Random Rants video. “I thought it was good, but I don't know if you guys saw the episode,” Shore said. “Tony Hinchcliffe basically said, ‘I'm going to kick your fucking ass if you don't fucking stop fucking around, Pauly.”

Shore was definitely fucking around. For example, check out the 21:30 mark when Hinchcliffe asks Shore for a stack of notecards full of jokes. Shore offers one of the cards, then another, but refuses to hand over the pile. “That's not how it works, Pauly,” Hinchcliffe warned. “If you're planning on doing this for the next two hours, you could shove that wig in your fucking mouth, buddy.”

Shore swears he was just trying to be funny. “But after the fucking show, … he took me aside. All his security guards took me aside and they asked me never to come back.” The comedian believes he could be the first Kill Tony guest to get a permanent ban.

To make matters worse, Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership is now off-limits for Shore on Mondays when Kill Tony is taping. On other nights, Shore says he’s only allowed to play Little Boy, the club’s smaller performance space. “The only reason I'm allowed in the baby room is because it's literally above Bar Mitzi’s.” (Mitzi’s Bar at the Mothership is named in tribute to Shore’s mother, Mitzi, who ran the Comedy Store in Los Angeles for decades.)

Shore, who appeared on multiple episodes of the podcast, says it was a good run, but he’s received paperwork from an attorney advising him to stay away from the Mothership when Kill Tony is in the house. “Kill Tony, if you're out there, I love you and I understand,” Shore said. “I wouldn't put me back on that show either. I fucked up your whole rhythm. It's the number one podcast in the world, and you don't want me on there.”

Law firms must be thrilled, because Shore revealed other legal emails he’s recently received, asking him to stop mentioning comedian Bobby Lee and show organizer Jam in the Van. Despite the alleged gag orders, both were mentioned several times during Random Rants

Could the Kill Tony ban simply be a bit? Hinchcliffe is visibly annoyed during Shore’s episode, so not inviting him back makes sense. But why are all the lawyers getting involved? Any episodes of Random Rants that address comedians’ beef with Shore get quadruple the views of his normal podcasts, so the Weasel might just be drumming up business.

But he definitely seems bummed out. He claims he’s squatting in his current apartment and can’t be evicted under the policies of California Governor Gavin Newsom. “Him and AOC and also that Persian Talibani guy that's now the mayor of New York — I am for you guys. I think you're fantastic. You're doing a great job for squatters.”

In the meantime, Shore needs a job. He asked his viewers for a special favor “from the bottom of my heart — if you're bored and you got nothing going on … I was thinking about you possibly tweeting at Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, all these places and just say you saw Pauly Shore recently on his Random Rants podcast or … wherever you saw me and you go, you know what? Put Pauly Shore in a film.”
