Have you ever thought about why almost all TV shows made for kids are animated and vice versa? There’s probably all kinds of science on that, right? We’re not qualified to even google it, but it’s probably got something to do with the brighter colors and more, well, cartoonist appearances of things. The real world just isn’t vibrant enough to appeal to a baby. They just got those eyes, and they’re still all fuzzy.

One of the primary advantages of animation, however, beyond maintaining new people’s attention, is a lack of limitation. A character’s behavior or environment is mostly unconstrained by concerns about budget, schedule or even the laws of physics. That means things can get pretty weird, in a medium made for people unable to process weirdness.
