20 Songs That Could Be Used As Means of Torture

‘It’s Everyday Bro’

To most of us, the twinkling, opening notes of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” serve as a nostalgic kickoff to the holiday season. For retail workers, however, the sound of Mimi’s high-pitched “It’s tiiiiiime!” has an entirely different effect.

“Sure, it’s a bop when you hear it once or twice during the holidays,” one such retail worker explained on Reddit. “But any retail worker can tell you, when played on a loop, that frenetic piano intro leaves lasting scars.”

A number of other songs also have the ability to double as torture devices, the worst of which include a terrible rendition of a Baha Men banger, a Vanilla Ice fake-out and Jake Paul’s musical monstrosities.
