Cats or dogs? Republican or Democrat? Coke or Pepsi? These are the questions that divide the American people today. Although one of those questions may have more severe consequences, they all can be equally polarizing for some people. Here are some facts to arm yourself with in your next family debate… as long as it happens to be over the last question. For the other two, you simply must fend for yourself. 

For some of us, we grew up drinking more soda than water. Soda (or pop or Coke if you’re nasty) was a staple of our childhoods, our lunches, and our Happy Meals. Since then, we as a  country have significantly cut back on our soda consumption, but we can’t fully quit that sweet brown carbonated nectar.
