Ever wonder why Amazon went with “Prime” for their services? Do you think Jeff Bezos is a big Transformers fan and just liked Optimus Prime so much that he wanted to infuse a small piece of that fandom into his ever-growing empire? These are the questions that tend to come to mind when you run out of things to watch on streaming services.

Fortunately, we don’t have to pontificate on such things for much longer, as Prime Video has added some high-quality films and TV shows for our mind-mouths to gobble up like the pop culture piggies we all are. We have some early aughts casual favorites like Shrek, Crank, and Dude, Where’s My Car? along with some ’90s classics like Tombstone and A League of Their Own thrown in for good measure.
