They say, “revenge is a dish best served cold.” Well, what if you’re not a chef? For centuries, musicians have thrown shade, expounded on hard feelings, expounded on loving feelings, expressed regret, and have just plain been inspired by other humans to write, perform, and sing specific works. This also includes songs written about famous people.

However, it’s only been in the past few decades that a celebrity’s song about another celebrity could bring in tons of record sales and downloads. There are even songs you love that you may not know are about a specific famous person. Let’s unpack a few of those, shall we?

Aerosmith's "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)"
