In the world of academia, there are few things more prestigious than a Nobel Prize. And while many great minds have been honored with this distinction, there are some who feel that the Nobel committee has gotten it wrong on more than one occasion. There's a reason people say that "smart people are annoying." It's because there's some truth to it. Smart people can be very irritating, especially if they're always right. But here's the thing: being smart isn't about always being right; it's about learning from your mistakes. And that's a lesson that everyone, smart or not, can benefit from.

Bad things happen to good people. It's just a fact of life. But sometimes, it seems like especially bad things happen to smart people. People who should know better than to believe in stupid things fall for them time and time again. Apparently, intelligence isn't everything!
