Everyone finds themselves facing awkward silences, conversational lulls or (let’s face it) weird first dates.   We employ icebreakers in a variety of situations, including corporate team-building activities or at the start of meetings. Woof. So, next time you are scrambling for some ‘interesting’ factoid about the GDP of micronesia, try reaching for one of these instead.

We can’t guarantee you these facts will get you through every strange social encounter, but they can’t hurt either. Well, that’s not entirely true. Some of these might make things even weirder, but who are we to judge. The fact is, the world is a weird place and there’s plenty of strange tid bits to go around.
