We don’t want to brag, but some of these TV facts got some serious laughs on set today. It was cool to see them do their thing in front of an audience, and for our writers to get some audible validation for their work. It’s rare for writers to get validation.

See, we’re even referring to them as “the writers” instead of their actual names.

Darkwing Duck

GREY'S ANATOMY was almost Complications. ABC hated the show's title so much that they tried changing it several times. At first they wanted to either call it Doctors or Surgeons. Just two weeks before its premiere, they tried to rename it Complications. CRACKED.COM

30 Rock (Again)

30 ROCK was originally Peacock. NBC executives rejected Tina Fey's first idea for the title because they didn't think it would ever pass the censors. They would go on to use the terrible name for their own streaming service 15 years later. CRACKED.COM

True Detective

TRUE DETECTIVE was almost The Murder Ballads. Producer Cary Fukunaga thought True Detective was too pulpy and wanted to call the show The Murder Ballads. Не dropped the idea after recognizing that a more all-inclusive title was needed for an anthology series. CRACKED.COM

Frasier

Frasier one = I ff. CRACKED.COM THE PILOT THE SHOW Lisa Kudrow played Roz in the pilot, but was given the boot because her vibe wasn't quite right. Absolutely devastating - until she booked Friends a year later.

Leave It to Beaver

The Munsters

Batman

Scully wasn't allowed to walk next to Mulder on The X-Files. Producers on the original series insisted that Gillian Anderson stay a few feet behind David Duchovny at all times (while also making far less money than he did). CRACKED.COM

The Expanse

Thanks to dedicated fans, Amazon decided to pick up The Expanse for a fourth season. When Syfy canceled The Expanse, fans started petitions and rented out airplanes to demand that Amazon pick the show up. And it worked! CRACKED
