President Trump Calls on NBC to Cancel Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon Amid Jimmy Kimmel Suspension
Hours after ABC announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be “indefinitely” pulled from its late-night schedule, President Donald Trump is already encouraging NBC to follow suit.
The Commander-in-Chief praised the Disney-owned network’s decision to indefinitely suspend the show over Kimmel’s comments hinting that Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer was a conservative, a move he touted as “Great News for America.”
“The ratings-challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED,” the president began a post shared to Truth Social on Wednesday evening. “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done.”

Though the network’s choice to suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live! came amid pressure from both FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and local broadcast network Nexstar, which revealed it would be removing the show from its 32 ABC affiliates, Trump urged NBC to follow suit by cancelling The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers.
“That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC,” Trump continued, dubiously claiming that both their late-night series suffered from “horrible” ratings. “Do it NBC!!!”
At the rate we’re going, tomorrow night’s late-night slots might just be ads for nutraceuticals and Viagra.
