On September 16, 2015, Comedy Central aired an episode of South Park that would set the tone for the next several seasons and dramatically, and, very possibly permanently, alter the show’s canon. With “Stunning and Brave,” the South Park writers responded to the growing push for cultural sensitivity on America’s college campuses by replacing the classic South Park character Principal Victoria with PC Principal, a high-intensity, muscle-bound frat bro whose undying devotion to inclusive language can drive him into a violent rage if a student so much as accidentally implies that a woman can’t sell sandwiches on TV.
For the last decade, PC Principal has gone through so many highs and lows, and, much like the stunning and brave Caitlyn Jenner herself, he is now staunchly aligned with the far right after rebranding as “Power Christian Principal” in Season 27.
