Lois Griffin Inspired and Featured on A Screamo Song With the Longest Title Ever

In another universe, Seth MacFarlane grew up on Death and Possessed instead of Lerner and Loewe, and every Family Guy musical number sounds like the new Griffin single “Lois Griffin Crashes Out in a Basement After Being Cucked as a Confused Band of Suburban Teens Improv Over Her Screams of Terror.”
The musicality of Family Guy is an inextricable part of the show’s success, but with respect to MacFarlane’s masterful singing ability and comprehensive composing career, the typical tunes of the animated comedy are a little, well, old-fashioned. Down to the show’s very theme song, the music of Family Guy evokes a bygone era of American entertainment, before the popularization of the electric guitar and distortion, back when the heaviest and most brutal song in popular culture was Jud Fry singing “Lonely Room” in Oklahoma!.
Don't Miss
These suburban Family Guy fans, on the other hand, have no qualms with trading in old-fashioned sounds and old-fashioned values for some raw, real and ripping screamo music inspired by the show, specifically the anguish of Lois Griffin when she saw her husband going down on her mom:
The inspiration behind Griffin’s new single, “Lois Griffin Crashes Out in a Basement After Being Cucked as a Confused Band of Suburban Teens Improv Over Her Screams of Terror,” is a famous scene from the 2022 Family Guy episode “The Munchurian Candidate,” in which Lois accidentally hypnotizes her husband into committing cunnilingus on her mother Babs while trying to get Peter to perform the act on her. Griffin sampled voice actress Alex Borstein's iconic six-second scream from the moment when Lois stumbled upon her hubby and her mom engaged in a bit of clam diving on the single's Spotify release, which already has over 50,000 plays.
As for the band itself, Griffin really is a bunch of suburban high schoolers (as well as the drummer's dad), and the original recording of “Lois Griffin Crashes Out in a Basement After Being Cucked as a Confused Band of Suburban Teens Improv Over Her Screams of Terror,” which went viral on both Instagram and TikTok late last month, was, as the hilariously long-winded name suggests, a full improvisation.
In another recent post, Griffin revealed that they’re currently working on an entire album, which we can only hope will feature many more Family Guy-focused screamo songs similar to “Lois Griffin Crashes Out in a Basement After Being Cucked as a Confused Band of Suburban Teens Improv Over Her Screams of Terror.” God knows the show isn’t short on screams to sample — for Griffin’s next song, might I suggest a track centered around the many brutal roars of Joe Swanson?
