Allegedly Leaked Storyboards from the ‘King of the Hill’ Reboot Hint at A Bobby and Connie Reunion

While King of the Hill’s 14th season may come with its fair share of “Kahn-scious Uncoupling,” as one leaked episode title would imply, at least one member of the Soupheanousinphone family would seem to be happily partnered: Connie. If a recent batch of supposed leaked KOTH storyboards are to be believed, she is now together with her former flame Bobby Hill.

Weeks ahead of the scheduled cast reunion and season preview at the ATX TV Festival at the end of May, several drawings purportedly swiped from the show’s production studio have made the rounds online, claiming to offer much-awaited hints at (h)what the folks of Arlen have been up to since the 2009 finale.

Depicting, among other things, an injured Peggy hobbling on crutches, a cross-armed Hank plopped on his couch and a giddy Bill hugging a visibly-annoyed Kahn (some things never change, even after a 15-ish year time-jump), these black-and-white sketches offer a full spectrum of clues about what may be in store come premiere day — including middle-school sweethearts Bobby and Connie, now young adults, re-connecting romantically.

In several of the images, a shirtless, stubble-clad Bobby can be seen in what appears to be his childhood bedroom with Connie beneath the covers of his bed, the pair accompanied by a small dog that’s most definitely not Ladybird Hill.

Now, before you order up a slice of wedding cake — and let’s be real here, some étouffée for Bobby’s Cajun sensibilities  these illustrations haven’t been independently verified.

The oldest reverse-image search links back to a now-deleted 4chan thread from four days ago, with the only others appearing on King of the Hill Threads and Facebook fan pages. The screenshots on Reddit, however, appear to stem from an unknown Google file entitled “KOTH storyboard three.pdf,” with some fans pointing to similarities between Beavis and Butt-Head storyboards — as well as Disney’s decision to take down a recent YouTube video purportedly including the images — to prove its legitimacy.

In other words, this could be the real deal — or as nonsensical as trying to talk to Boomhauer.
