No one likes working with green screens, not even Ian McKellen. The renowned actor says that acting in front of green screens during the making of “The Hobbit” was miserable, and he expresses this frustration in his documentary, “McKellen: Playing the Part.” He said that location shooting for  “The Lord of the Rings” was much preferred because there were no green screens used.

And Christian Bale is another big name who isn't a fan of green screen work, especially when it's repetitive. The actor hated working on "Thor: Love and Thunder" for that reason.
