Historical Photos That Look Like They're Slow Motion

Images that can amaze and move us.

There are historical images where time seems to have stood still, showing us glances, gestures, and visual details that can amaze us, move us, and evoke nostalgia for a past event.

In the following photos, you can see wartime events that transcended history and events that took place in various countries and were important for what they represented in the 20th century.

For example, Soviet and American troops fraternizing on Elbe Day in 1945 is an event that will endure in the history of humanity after WWII. There are also curious images, such as Marilyn Monroe's appearance in Korea in 1945 or Ernest Hemingway kicking a beer in the middle of the street.

These photos capture the tension of the moment and tell a story that documents events and also the feeling of the passage of time.
