Classic Rockers Observed Before the Fame
Rock isn't as big as it used to be, but kids today are bringing back garage bands, trying to keep cool music alive by revitalizing traditions that gave us some of the most powerful stage presences ever. We might see some great bands in a couple of years and look back at their beginnings with plain clothes, cheap instruments, and short haircuts that have nothing to do with their stage performances.
Because that's exactly what we can do today with some of the most popular rock bands in history. Look back at their beginnings, or even before that, when they were nothing but dreams and raw talent. From Kiss to The Police, to David Bowie and Elvis, they all started somewhere that didn't look cool at all. Some of them were real nerds, even.
So, let's take a look at classic rockers observed before the fame that changed their lives and ours.
