Life’s Best 4 Years: College in the 1990s

A nostalgic look at campus life

University life in the 90s was a unique stage, between the analog era and the beginning of the digital world. Students took notes by hand, communicated by landline or letters, and listened to music on a Walkman.

Social media didn't exist in the 1990s, so friendships were forged in person. It was a time of exploration and freedom, without smartphones and with more time for face-to-face conversations.

In the 90s, the internet was not yet as accessible as it is today, so the students mainly depended on books and encyclopedias for our schoolwork. We often had to go to the library or search through a large number of books to find the information we needed.

Today, looking back awakens nostalgia for the simplicity of that decade.
